Memories: Spirit Helper, Mansion, and the Bunker

The three optional lore nights, with full Spirit Helper breach steps and what the other two gate in the shop.

Memories are optional. They are not required for a first Night 1 clear. The three named in current guides are Spirit Helper, Mansion Incident, and The Bunker. Beating all memory badges is the Deja Vu badge and the Sacrifice outfit.

Spirit Helper

You are in a bedroom with The Pest, not The Mutant. Flashlights and cameras do not scare this Pest. Survive from 12 AM to 6 AM, about 8 minutes and 20 seconds, to earn the Spirit Helper badge. That badge gates the 3,000-Coin Plushie.

Sanity drains on its own.

  • The teddy bear on the chest to the left of the closet gives an immediate sanity boost.
  • The lamp on the left of the bed restores sanity quickly. Leaving it on for about 5 to 6 seconds can burn it out. A louder buzz means it is close to breaking. A broken lamp goes on cooldown.
  • Shut off the alarm clock when it rings.

The Pest uses three openings: the vent left of the bed, the bedroom door between the closet and the bed, and the window by the door.

Phase What you see What you do
1 One hand or claw Do not hide. Fix sanity or the alarm.
2 Both hands Finish the current task and get ready.
3 Face, teeth, or head Hide under the bed.

Hiding early wastes the bed. Hiding late gets you caught. You can clear the standard memory while ignoring the closet scratches, but the scratches tax sanity. Bloodmoon on this memory awards the Nightmare badge.

Mansion Incident

This is the Bloody Mansion memory. Public guides describe candy, doors, and blackouts. This page does not repeat a room order that was not read in full. What is confirmed for shop planning: the Mansion Incident badge gates the Candy Bucket, which costs 750 Coins and has four stamina uses.

The Bunker

Halloween 2025 introduced The Bunker. The threat named for that memory is The Abomination. Hello World, earned by sending the distress call, unlocks the Miner outfit and the right to buy the Flare Gun for 2,500 Coins. The Flare Gun still does not stun The Stalker.

A full visual route of all three memories is in the memories video. Use the Spirit Helper table above while you watch that chapter, because the video's upload date is October 2025 and later balance tweaks will not be in the footage.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are you trying to survive in Residence Massacre?

Prepare the map before midnight, then stay alive from 12 AM to 6 AM. Night 1 is the house and The Mutant. Night 2 is the factory. Night 3 is Lakeview Camp. You are not required to kill the anomaly to win a night.

Are there working Residence Massacre codes?

No active promo code was documented, and the game was not described as having a standing code box. Earn Coins from nights, memories, Endless, badges, and daily quests. Ignore lists that promise free Coins through surveys.

Who is Larry?

Larry is the community name for The Mutant, the quadruped anomaly on Night 1 and at the factory floodlights on Night 2. On Night 1, room lights scare him only while he is still at a window.

What happened to TIX?

In August 2026 the wallet label changed from TIX to Coins after Roblox moderation. Published notes say earn rates and shop prices stayed equivalent and only the name and icons changed.

Is Night 4 playable?

No. Night 4 is not released. The Night 3 ending with the soldiers is a story tease, not a fourth map. PvP was removed in January 2026 and has not been brought back on the pages covered here.

Does VIP still multiply Coins?

No. After the August 21, 2026 Night 1 Rework, VIP is a free quest refresh, a VIP label, and the Retro outfit. Double Coins still doubles night, memory, and Endless night payouts. It does not double quest rewards.
