The Roblox description names two bindings and nothing else: sprint is Shift on keyboard and L3 on a controller, and the flashlight is F on keyboard, X on Xbox, and Square on PlayStation. Mobile, PC, and console are all supported.
When the sheets disagree
A September 2026 controls page maps PC interact to E, flashlight to F, and console interact to X or Square, with flashlight on Y or Triangle. An older encyclopedia maps interact to left click, RT, or R2, and the light to F, X, or Square, which matches the game page.
Use the button prompt on the object you are looking at. If you rebind interact in Roblox settings, tell the squad. Most spoken callouts assume the default PC key is E.
Callouts that survive a mixed lobby
Say the object, not the key, when PC and console share a night:
- "On cams" means someone is at the monitor or tablet.
- "Fuse trip" means the fuse box needs a reset. Lights going out can be power, not a breach.
- "Gen low" means fetch fuel. On Night 1 that is a gas can. On Night 2 that is a storage-room battery.
- "Hammer" plus a door or window name means that plank is the current job.
- "Flash mid-right" on Night 2 means the floodlight button, which spends a generator bar.
Hold the interact control on generators, fuse boxes, and ladders. A tap can cancel the pour. Say "fueling" so the hammer player does not leave the door to come help.
Other documented inputs
Hotbar slots are number keys on PC. Drop is often Backspace, B, or Circle depending on the sheet. Night 3 shotgun aim is the secondary fire button and the shot is primary fire. Jump is Space, A, or Cross. Do not treat those rows as more official than the flashlight line on the game page.
A published stamina model from late August 2026 says sprint drains about one eighth of the bar per second, a jump takes about one tenth, a jump while sprinting takes about one fifth, and the bar refills about one sixteenth per second while you are not sprinting or jumping. Iron Lungs adds 25 percent stamina. If a later patch changed the bar, the in-game meter wins.
Practice in daylight: ladder, cameras, three barricades, one fuel pour, one fuse check. Then load Night 1.
